While Dublin Airport services over 60 airlines and is ranked the 10th busiest airport in Europe.

Terminal 2 will initially serve five airlines, Aer Lingus, American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Etihad Airways and US Airways. Dublin Airport currently serves over 190 routes, mainly to American and European destinations.

The new terminal at Dublin Airport is well served by public transport. The airport is served by over 700 buses daily with connections to Dublin City Centre and beyond. A taxi rank is located immediately outside Terminal 2, where regulated taxis offer a fast and convenient service.

The United States emigration pre-clearance facility opening has been delayed until January 2011 with the result that US Airways, Continental Airlines and Delta Airlines won't transfer to Terminal 2 until early 2011.
